The southward journey took a bit longer with detours in the suburbs of Colorado Springs to find groceries and dinner. The drive culminated when we got lost in an apartment complex sandwiched up against the concrete backside of a supermarket while I replayed an iphone video of Nicholas' grandma teaching the toddler how to say "ORANGUTAN" in a loud jersey accent. Nonetheless, we made it to our destination, set up camp, and enjoyed well-featured walls of limestone below sunny skies. Below are a few 10mm shots:

ReplyDeleteThis is off topic, but I just watched your Breakfast Alpinism Vimeo vid. Think it's ace.
Just curious, one of the team members in the vid has a silver rucksack. To my untrained eye, it looks like one of these Ultralight backpacking style things made from such space age materials as Cuben Fiber.
Any chance you could enlighten me as to the make / model of the pack?
Good luck with the new Lens!
Many thanks,
Kenny
